·       Release of second edition of Tay Times Tabloid

·       July 6 – Attended TVT Committee of the Whole  meeting concerning Lockwood Development at Miller Farm

·       July 16-18 – Booth and sponsorship of Paddling Puppeteer at Stewart Park Music Festival

·       Application for $5,000. RBC Blue Planet grant to provide water-themed, curriculum-based education for two grade 8 classes in Perth

·       Monitoring of  reports and discussions between  Town of Perth and RVCA regarding Haggart Island Dam restoration/reconstruction

 

August

·       August 8 – Submitted comments on review of Miller property concept plan

·       August 10 – Attended TVT Council meeting to discuss Miller property development plans

 

September

·       September 6 – Accessibility Trail - FoTW volunteers helped clear additional trail for river view

·       September 7 – Presentation to Perth Committee of the Whole regarding Wilson Street storm water treatment project

·       September 7 – Attended TVT Council Meeting re Lockwood Development

·       September 8 – Attended official opening of Accessibility Trail

·       September 9 – FoTW Board Meeting #3

·       September 19th – Second Watershed Discovery Day at EcoTay Education Centre

·       September 23 – Sponsored two classes to attend Eastern Ontario Children’s Water Festival at Foley Mountain

·       Support and needed actions for status of Tay River as a Canadian Heritage River

·       Sponsorship of Nature Works Learning program for two grade 8 classes in Perth

·       October 28 – Source Protection Committee Public Meeting in Perth

·       Attended meeting to encourage inclusion of Bolingbroke Dam in the Rideau Corridor strategy
